Mina Bakery, Fairfield

I've been in this area for the past four months, walked past these places daily. Everytime I felt up for trying something new, this place was already closed. Last weekend I finally went for it and tried one of their pizzas.

I only know oregano by the overwhelming smell of opening the container of dried oregano leaves to sprinkle into my pasta sauce.

I walk past this same menu twice (or more) a day, and am always amazed at the price... $1.50 for an oregano pizza? that's ridiculous.

I pranced in, the interior was very simple. A few tables and chairs to sit and eat, and condiments along the wall of each table.

There was a picture menu below too. Good idea.

And already baked goods ready to sell at the window display.

I need to try one of their meaty dishes one day.

I ordered one oregano pizza to take away. I waited about 7 minutes for them to bake the pizza.

Sitting at the table patiently waiting :3. Hi condiments.

Home sweet home, kinda excited to rip into this!

It was massive! The size of a lebanese flat bread. A bit more than 30cm wide.

Smells good and still hot!

Greeny goodness... Doesn't look too appetising..

I ripped myself a quarter.

It was sprinkled with sesame seeds, oil i think and other herbs.

The bread is amazing. I could snack on this all day.

I feel like I'm in minecraft discovering the depths of this foreign land.

The oregano pizza was yummy! Half of it filled me up. Today I had gone to Merrylands - the same bakery, different location, their oregano pizza was delicious -gosh.. I thought the Fairfield one was good! It had a ting of lemon in it. I can't wait to come back on the weekend to order one of their meaty dishes! Nom.

V Lounge, Canley Heights

So where do you wanna go? Vlounge? Eh, okay.  -Number of times I've had this conversation... countless.
Vlounge is one of the onnnnnlyyyy nearby chill out spots in our area. Someone should really open up more (good) (and not filled with nonspeaking english people- yes I'm looking at you vyvy garden and corner cafe- places)

I've been  to Vlounge numerous times and usually always get their boysenberry gelato (which is amazing.) We had just finished dinner at Canley Heights Bistro and I felt like something small to snack on.

I ended up ordering crepes to share with my mate.

Crepes with strawberries, nutella, white chocolate and crumbled biscuits ($10.50)

My other friend had gotten the same but with a pancake

How beautiful it looks...

It was delicious....

Best combination! We all enjoyed our dishes.

I should give myself a break on the gelato and try something new. I am definitely coming back for their crepes again. I don't know if anyone cares about service, but V Lounge definitely has no thought about it. Kinda ridiculous but Canley Heights, what can I expect?

Canley Heights Hotel Bistro, Canley Heights

I have not been to Canley Heights Bistro in nearly a year! After a long time deciding on where to eat, my friend had said that their crumbled chicken bosciola here is pretty damn amazing. I just had to see what all the fuss was about.

Being nearly a year, I pranced through the entrance of this place.... I expected it all to be dark and dreary.... But they've renovated the place and it looks so much better!

Made our orders, and sat at our tables.

Is.. is this the right place?

Crumbled chicken, chips, salad and a side of bosciola sauce ($18)

Mushrooms, onions, ham and all sorts of goodness in ere'

It's in a love heart shape... This chicken lavs me!!!!

Fancy bar being fancy

And of course, smashed it

My friend approves too :D

The crumbed chicken was indeed the best chicken shnitzel I've ever tasted. The bosciola sauce was good, but I could have easily done without it. The salad was meh, with meh dressing. The beer batter chips were perfect, but my friend had said that she had tried it better here before. It was all definitely good stuff, I would definitely come here again whenever I feel up for a chicken schnitzel.

Lindt Chocolat Café, Darling Harbour

Lindt. We were so close to not finding this place and turning to Guylians instead, until my fish brain remembered seeing it on Google Maps. Good on ya Alice. It's nearly Halloween so we were walking down the strip at Darling Harbour absolutely swarmed by people in halloween costumes.

Entering these nicely adorned gates to get to Lindt

Straight away... When I entered Lindt... I squealed! I should have taken a picture of this WHOLE place. It was amazing. A chocolate wonderland. Everything was so nicely positioned, chocolates along the shelves along the walls, behind the cabinets. I loved it!

 Christmas is near friends.

Oh. my. gosh. I need to try these next time!

 Adorable! So many colours!

I should have gotten these. Dangit.

 Caaakes! Priced from $10

Looking through the menu.. Way too many things I wanted.
 I love the clean pictures!

They even have a savoury menu! Sounds delicious too.

 In line to order ♪

They had this buffet sort of this going on, grab a box and fill it. Pay by the kilo!

 SO. MANY. OPTIONS.

These rectangular treats remind me of Canada. why...

 Ahh too pretty.

We had went to sit down at a table to wait for our order
Look up and the tree above us was wrapped in twinkly lights

 Hi seagull

Ordered a double shot latte ($8)

 And a sharing plate ($25.90).

I just looked on the site and it's JUST like the picture...
Daaaayuum! Lindt you got it spot on.

On the sharing plate there was two waffles with a scoop of icecream, chocolate brownies, two macaroons (hazelnut and salted caramel flavour), two of their classic Connoisseur chocolates, strawberries and chocolate sauce for dipping.

Artistic hipster photo unplanned photo shot lol

Brownies!!!! (Weren't anything special)

 Beautiful. That is all.

 Hi

I don't like macaroons too much.

Nommed them all up as my friend isn't much of a sweet tooth, it didn't sway me at all.

Too pretty! And I ate it.

Lindt is a place you have to go to at least once. The interior is gorgeous. They had a few tables inside and quite a few outside, but the weather was beautiful, so I didn't mind it at all! Try the food and say that this place is incredible overrated and overpriced. The only thing I absolutely liked was the Connoisseur chocolates, other than that, nothing else really caught my tastebuds. I'll come back to try their classic Lindor balls (I already have a list of the ones I want to try)!
